if you fold your pillow in half, and it doesn't pop back, it just might be perfect ... for one of your pillows. i have two or three on my bed. i'm in the market for a temperpedic next.

Don't most people wash their pillow cases when they wash their sheets? And am I the only one who does that automatically every 7-10 days? Huh. And, call me old fashioned (actually I think it came from my Southern grandmother), but I also have pillow ticks (they're basically zippered pillow cases NOT bugs) that go on the pillow before the pillow case itself. I even wash my pillows themselves a couple times a year. It makes them all fluffy again. And seriously . . . wash your face before going to bed at night and your pillow case will stay cleaner longer. And if you're sick, wash your pillow cases and sheets more. And the same goes for wash clothes and towels.

Margaret...your head leaks syrup? That's making me laugh in my cube right now. That may be the grossest/funniest description of anything I've heard in a while. Also, speaking of Abraham Lincoln, looks like you've got a theme going on here. Spock Lincoln, Bowie Lincoln, the condition known as Margaret's Abraham Lincoln pillow...

Ugh, I get so grossed out when I see naked pillows (without the pillow cases). WTF? How did my head get so dirty that it leaks syrup into my pillow all night? This condition of grody pillowness is known in my world as "Abraham Lincoln pillow." When I was a kid, I went to the Lincoln museum in DC, and they have the pillow he was laying on when he died. Guess what it looks like?

I've had the same pillow since high school. When my pillow evolved sentience (or rather a collective colony of hyperintelligent fungi) in 2005, I named him Lars. He likes strawberries and old Elvis movies. Great guy.
