I am the filmmaker who made the Obama film and it was never conceived as a propaganda piece. It is simply a chronicle of Obama's momentous trip to Africa in 2006. When we made the film there was no 'campaign.' I would hope people would actually watch the film before making generalized statements. I've been making independent films for 25 years and we self-funded the film.

Oh is that the same trip where O'bama told a straving village in Kenya,- where residents live on about ten cents a day-, that one United States Senator can't do any thing for them. Yet ten minutes later, he pulls out his check book writes a 5,000 check to Joe Lie-berman, the Slimy senator from Connecticut to show his public support for Lie-berman's then crashing relection campaign? It's a legitimate question asked by E, despite the nonsense disguised as comment offered by Navin. I am all but certain I will vote for Obama should he appear on the fall ballot, but at times, it seems as though this site is part of the Obama campaign--even though I acknowledge his story has many local angles. That said, how does E know the movie is "blatant propaganda"? I assume E has seen the move, but correct me if I am wrong.
