@Pinko:

Two words: Devin Hester. They could go 3-13 (and probably will) and as long as I get some long ass run backs, I'm a happy camper.

But fer reals, I hate all the fawning over "national pastime", "crack of the bat... smell of the grass", "let's play two" nostalgism. I want violence. Joe Theisman on MNF-level violence. The kind of violence only a horse collar tackle can bring.

Can Bears Training Camp open sooner, please?

You sure about that? I love the Bears, with football being my favorite sport and all, but this season should be about as much fun as getting kicked in the nuts...

We get it Plum, you don't like baseball. How...I-don't-know-what of you. You're so indie! Is that what you want people to say? Or iconoclastic?

both games would have been nice mental wins for each team. the Sox overcome bad calls and 7 runs on the Buehrle, the Cubs tie it up in dramatic fashion with their new RFer after Kerry Wood hands the game to the Brewers. Oh well, 161 to go.

What we learned: The Sox should stop letting Buehrle start Opening Day against Sabathia and the Indians.

OK, but why the picture of El Toro in Jersey? I mean, I enjoy a good ride on El Toro--but no love for its English-language counterpart that's closer to home, the Raging Bull?
