If they confirm Sisqo, I'll totally wear a thong. I think Rage puts it over the top for me, they haven't really played here since reforming, aside from a show at Alpine Valley, so I may just have to go for that, but man, it seems like the talent pool is getting a little thin. I like a lot of these bands, but not only have I seen them, I've seen them in festival settings before. I want to see Bloc Party go for the sweep and play every different Chicago festival imaginable.

I really hope they doing something about the sound bleed off the stages this year. That and the non-performance agreement for 90 days acts have to sign, creating a deadzone for alot of bands. And Perry Ferrell's bullshit. Yeah, I'll just hit pitchfork and save the bother.

I am old and have lived through waaaay too many Ministry mosh pits in "pool thongs" Pool thongs? I'm getting a mental picture of Borat at the beach in his green "pool thong." Must be a bitch to mosh in that. Whatever turns you on!

I am old and have lived through waaaay too many Ministry mosh pits in pool thongs to put up with any shit, least of all from waify, eyeliner-ed shims, trying to body block me. I'm coming up front. Period. So if you find yourself in my way, move.

i'll bitch about it. they keep upping those ticket prices ... so i'd like to see new headliners. wilco? YAAAAWWWWWNNNNN. it's chicago, i'm ovvvvvaaaahhh it. i'm really into seeing broken social scene again .. that was a new deal i hadn't really known about before lolla. speaking of which, if you're going to bring people back, how about lcd soundsystem? that was fucking great.

I'm not sure how I feel about the new Gnarls album. Is it wrong of me to want the explosive pop-piness of St. Elsewhere? Also I refuse to see Jamie Lidell ever again after having seen him at the MCA where it seemed like the all-in-black, painfully-hip crowd refused to jive with his fun set. That's probably why he pulled my friends and I up from the front row and had us sing and dance with him. My heart is still skipping.
