the Toddler and Mr. Eager Beavers both sharp masters of sharp rhetoric and wit, however, mildly retarded in their ability to manage and run a county. yes, Toddler, the county is broke. those tax hikes did nothing considering you just dumped the cash right back into your coffers. but like this county, i too am broke. so you and your crew can eat bunch of dicks ... cos the next time you ask for cash, i'm just gonna say ... "dude, i'm broke. i need money."

Todd, In difficult financial times small sacrafices are neccasary perhaps you could get by with just 2-3 friends on the payroll as PR persons, maybe you dont need 4 spokespersons, perhaps the county in difficult times should only be forced to employee 50% of your extended family. I know these seem unthinkable but just give it a thought or ask John Daley/Bill Beavers who do all you thinking for you to let you know what to deciede. Toddy its time for some LAYOFFS.

While I agree that Stroger is an idiot, I think we all need to take a collective deep breath about grammar errors. It is easy to misspeak when you don't have to luxury of the delete key as we do. People sometimes when put on the spot get nervous. See: Miss Teen South Carolina. Sure that was insane and incoherent, but she was on The Today Show the following day and was pretty articulate. I think Mario Lopez made her nervous. Hey-O!!

Pathetic. I imagine the county gang and Monique Davis (and others) all hanging out together someplace. These people are so arrogant and drunk with the power they hold that they ignore basic civics, not to mention common sense. I'm almost thankful Stroger didn't say "We IS broke", which speaks volumes about the expectations we have for these idiots.

It's too bad the recall election bill will never pass. It'd be nice to recall this jag and kick his ass to the curb. The bill in question affects only elected officials at the state level and this jag would be unaffected either way.
