UIC is pretty well known in the skating/parkour communities as a good spot. The security there is decent (they actually spend time to secure the campus, not hassle skaters) and there are plenty of cool spaces/rails/builds to trick off of.
I was on my board down there since the mid-nineties. The parkour people started showing up a few years later. They are a sight to see in person. Like alot of skaters now they're kind of obsessed with getting a perfect camera shot off though. When they're just flowing and playing...too cool
i was wondering if we had parkour people. it seemed we *had* to. this stuff is fascinating to me.
pretty cool, but parkour in france/uk seems better.
I have seen some parkour videos from france and they are awesome. These guys are incredible athletes.
It looks so easy...
there's a lot of uic footage, maybe they go there?
it's like fruitbooting without the fruit boots!

you know the whole world is turning into a planet brimming with slovenly fatasses when running and jumping become music video-worthy.
god, humanity is getting lame.
in related news, i had to jump over a wet el step this morning. let the oohs and aaahs commence.
