No GTA On The CTA
The CTA is yanking ads for the upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto 4 after Fox Chicago made a stink about it. It's almost as if this has all happened before. Wait a second...it totally did in 2004.
The CTA says ads only need to meet decency requirements, but Ron Huberman apparently agreed to pull the GTA spots. The most recent studies show no causal relationship between violent video games and real-world violence, and we thought the CTA wasn't allowed to pick and choose its advertisers, but high fives to everyone for wasting time, money and effort.
