why is it important for all non-cub fans to see that? Also I dont' really think it's like that. I think maybe it's like that for Sox fans and Cardinals fans but are you saying that a Detroit Lions fan cares what the Cubs are doing? Or a Detroit Tigers fan for that matter? Or are you just talking about non-cub sports fans in Chicago, which would then be Sox fans.

How can Sox fans still even really care about the Cubs or their fans? I don't understand it...you won the friggin' World Series, before the Cubs did. You'd think that would be enough to move on. And yet...

Watching the Cubs come back last night in the final innings against the defending NL champion Rockies not once, but twice, it started occurring to me that we really might be in for one helluva special season... There, I just jinxed us.
