The whole wire hanger issue that Joanie had, apparently stems from the fact that when she was young, she and her mother lived in the back of a dry cleaners and I think her mother worked there. I guess it was a traumatic time for her...being so poor and having to live amongst evil wire hangers. She was definitely wacko, but the background story kind of brings the wire hanger issue into some psychological perspective.

The best Oscars opener ever was a couple years back when they had a bunch of celebs recite lines from movies and Jello Biafra got to scream "No more wire hangers!"
