Cops Find 15,000 Pairs of Fake Nikes

Oak Forest police officers discovered 15,000 pairs of counterfeit Nike sneakers in storage units last week. The shoes were in boxes and on pallets, apparently ready to be shipped, and police say they have a street value of $750,000. So far, no arrests have been made, but it's the largest sneaker bust ever in the Midwest. [Southtown Star]

Cops find 15,000 pairs of fake zubaz, largest bust in the, well, world! Street value of $5,762.89. Amazing, its probably because Chicago cops were armed with semi-autos. You rock Daley! Oh, and for all your great work, we would like to reward you with a pair of these zubaz... whichever pair you want! USA! USA! USA! USA!

I am glad we are winning the war on knock-off dress apparel.

Cops determine both knock offs and real Nikes made by same factory...............

They have the "swoosh", we have the "swish".

Wow, yet another story of my hometown. OF is making headlines this year. At least this one isn't about another stupid decision on the part of corrupt government. Cicero watch your back, OF is taking your spot in this decade.
