Hi, Ellen!

Get your groovin' shoes on - the distinctive dance stylings of Ellen DeGeneres are coming to town tomorrow. They're taping tomorrow at the Michigan Plaza by the NBC5 studios, in the rain if necessary, starting at 11am. The show is sold out but standby tickets are going to be available, as well as a "Riff Raff Room" (worst name ever, Tom Hanks) for overflow guests at the nearby Embassy Suites, which a lucky few fans are going to have access to tomorrow as well.

Robin Williams is apparently booked for the show, as well as a couple American Idol castoffs. Whoopie. A surprise appearance by Barack Obama breaking out some Electric Boogaloo moves would be good times, though. Now, this all seems like a lot of work for one day's worth of show, but hey - who are we to complain about someone coming to town and throwing a bunch of production expense money around? It's no week-long stand like Conan did a while back, but hey, whatever. The show will air Tuesday afternoon. Oh, and Ellen? Whatever you do, please don't call us "Chi-Town." We hate that.
