as a lifelong berwyn resident, all i can say is i enjoyed the sculpture for what it was...a piece of creative public art in a world increasingly devoid of creativity. and i think all the people knocking on Berwyn are just upset they've overpaid for an walk in closet in a "hot" neighborhood, while i could afford a classic brick bungalow with all the trimmings for less (oh yea, and metra still gets me to work faster than my city friends who take the el).

Oh, I see. It's an eyesore. You know, as oppossed to billboards for car insurance (or whatever), the beautiful Circuit City, Shoe Carnival, Party City and Service Merchandise or other such aesthetically pleasing structures around it. You don't have to like it as art or whatever but: didn't have to live/shop around it. ha, Yeah this *must* have been the worst thing to have to see in beautiful Berwyn......
