St. Xavier Student Charged for Graffiti

xavier.jpgKatherine Loberg, a Saint Xavier University freshman, was arrested and charged Friday for the graffiti that caused the school to shut down for six days last month. The scrawled message on a bathroom wall contained threats of violence, and after the NIU shooting in February officials weren't going to take any chances. Others, however, thought it was overreacting. Officials are saying Loberg suffered from depression -- perhaps she was bummed by the state of the SXU dining room.

Loberg was released yesterday on a $15,000 bond, and SXU stated that she has been placed on "immediate administrative suspension" and is not allowed on campus. [Trib, SXU]

she let the school shut down for 6 days and didn't have the balls to say anything. she deserves every bit of punishment sent her way regardless of her intent when she wrote it. depression is not a legitimate excuse

She is only indirectly responsible for the school shutting down.
It was the idiots running the school & the fools at the Chicago Police that really shut it down when they panicked over an obvious copycat & meaningless threat.

How much of an idiot do you have to be to get caught scrawling bathroom graffiti?
