"I am sick of McCain's POW status being a "plus" in this campaign."

Fair enough, even if I don't agree 100%. But it's about the same "plus" that Obama brings to the table by being biracial--a biographical factor largely outside the control of a candidate, but which is being used in one's favor.

I also think that any candidate's mental status is fair game, and I also thing that Blago is mentally ill based on his self-destructive behavoir and his extreme narcissism. Care to tell us why you are certain McCain is bonkers?

I really liked McCain in 2000 when he got hosed by the bush machine. Im not to happy with his pandering to the right wing. I wish McCain was the canidate he was in 2000 and I do think obama being a first term senator needs more experiance so Im not sold on either. VP choice doesnt mean anything to me except for cheney they are just window dressing.

what would make you say McCain is mentally ill?

I am sick of McCain's POW status being a "plus" in this campaign. McCain is obviously mentally ill and I would point to the 6 years of torture as the likely culprit.

A guy in public office for about three decades, and who survived years prison camp, and who stomped over better funded candidates in the recent primary, is hardly a "born loser," no matter what you think of his politics.

that and being a republican, eh fed up?

McCain's a born loser anyway. The real life Manchurian candidate will lose.

I also believe she is sticking around just to see if anything pops up that would so damage obama that he is forced out. I am not a fan of obamas but I have been impressed by how he has handled himself the last 6 weeks or so. I just wish he wasnt associated with crook co., Daley ,E. Jones and blago/rezko it makes me suspicious.

So, is it over?

Has the hollow man won based upon those who want hollow change over the possibility of real change?

To hell with yall then!

I stand with T.S
Eliot and I'm sure that Brotha Eliot would not mind me inserting yall into his poem because you are

"the hollow men
the stuffed men
Leaning together
Headpiece filled with straw. Alas!
dried voices, when
whisper together
Are quiet and meaningless
As wind in dry grass
Or rats' feet over broken glass
your dry cellar"

You hollow men,

so have at your hollow change

"Its over. The media has declared it for Obama."

Maybe, but someone still needs to tell Clinton that:

"Mrs. Clinton’s campaign indicated early this morning that it would try to prove the commentariat wrong once again. 'Pundits have gleefully counted Senator Clinton out before, and each time they have been wrong, because they don’t decide this race — voters do,' Howard Wolfson, Mrs. Clinton’s communications director, wrote in an e-mail message. 'And as the results in Indiana demonstrated, voters are rewarding Senator Clinton with victories, even in states Senator Obama predicted victory in.'”

As they should,
She doesn't have the numbers to do it. The only way he loses is if she manages to conjure up some kind of massive swift boat, culture war issue. That may be the reason she's not quitting, come to think of it.

Zombie Clinton!
