Arguably one of the most explosive and frenetic performers to grace IO, Second City, and Saturday Night Live's stages, Chris Farley has passed into tabloid legend as a result of his untimely death at the age of 33. Farley was often compared to John Belushi in life and death; ironically, a speedball overdose contributed to his death, just like Belushi. Now, with the help of coauthor Tanner Colby, Chris's brother Tom explores the life and death of the actor in The Chris Farley Show: A Biography in Three Acts. The book presents Chris' career from his family's perspective, and how they felt as they watched Chris' life spin out of control and, ultimately, to a tragic, early death. Tom will be in town Monday to discuss and sign the book. It promises to be a great opportunity to learn more about an actor who, as happens far too often, passed before his full potential could be realized, from one of the people who knew him best.
