The street next to mine in the town I grew up in was Candy Ln.

Looking at the Google Map link there appears to be an outlet. Grumpy old farts on the northwest side not wanting people using their street?

Memory lane is a dead end? that's a thinker.

There's a Memory Lane in Mount Prospect. I don't think it's a dead end, but I remember thinking to myself when I saw that sign, "Ah, Memory Lane"...then I veered into a parked car.

Is there a Lovers Lane? I believe there's one in Saginaw, MI?

There's a Lois Lane (several, actually).

lamgray, as a sagnasty native, i think you may be confusing lovers lane with the plethora of hooters and deja vus.

Memory Lane wasn't always a dead end/cul de sac. It was cut off from Foster some time in the 90's.
Too many people wanted to take a ride...?

I always wished they'd change the name of Harms Road in Glenview to Harms Way, that'd be cool.

I once stayed at the Heartbreak Hotel in Memphis. And yes, it was at the end of Lonely Street.

There is a Lovers Lane in Kalamazoo, MI extending to Portage, MI.
