When will people in this county realize you need more than one party in positions of power? It doesn't matter which (Libertarian, Socialist, Republican, Green, Banana Republic, Old Navy, etc...), as long as people in office are aware they can be put out of office if they don't act at least somewhat in the best interest of the people. Stroger will never lose his job and he knows it, because he knows as long as D appears next to his name on the ballot he will win. As such, he does whatever he wants.

Toddler is something else. Runs the County like it's his own private corporation. Spends like there's a bottomless budget bucket. Makes decisions in a vacuum. Can't wait to hear about the next big Toddler mess. Good luck on your secession, Palatine.
