Now that former controlling shareholder of the Sun-Times Lord Black of Crossharbour is in jail for fraud and obstruction of justice, it seems he has discovered valuable ways to spend his time. The jailed media magnate is currently writing a memoir, The Fight of My Life, slated for an October release. The book will pick up where his last memoir, A Life In Progress (1993), left off.
Black's publisher calls the work "very honest and very straightforward." Right, because honest and straightforward is what we can expect from someone who, besides writing a glowing biography of Richard Nixon, is currently serving jail time for fraud.
Black's literary agent insists that his Chicago-based trial won't be the focus of the book, but it will be addressed. We're guessing fans of Solzhenitsyn won't be lining up to buy the book, but maybe it'll find room on some Sun-Times employee's Amazon Wish List for Christmas.

LOL @ Solzhenitsyn!
Who doesn't laugh at Solzhenitsyn? That Denisovich was quite a crack-up and the cads in the number 6 Hut had me in stitches. :-)
Writing isn't new for this guy:

Pretty highly rated too.
Well, what the hell else is he going to do in jail? He doesn't strike me as the weighlifting type.
