Holy Expensive Movie Ticket!
The 44th annual Chicago International Film Festival, Cinema/Chicago, and Warner Brothers have teamed up to treat Chicagoans to an advance screening of the newest Batman installment, The Dark Knight. Well, more specifically, you will have to treat yourself, since tickets to the gala event are $150 apiece.
The Dark Knight Gala will feature a tribute to director Christopher Nolan, and dinner following the IMAX screening, shown two days before the movie’s official release on July 18th. Proceeds will support Cinema/Chicago’s Educational Outreach program and this fall's Chicago International Film Festival.
We reviewed the movie trailer, and there is something … different about Christian Bale, although we can’t quite put our finger on what.

OMG, I am going to whore myself on CL to go to this event.
Lego trailer = GENIUS.
Spav, how much?
I am not a Five Diamonder....
I would say I will take $80, if you sign up for two sessions, third one is free. This way my ticket is covered and I can buy a burger.
Sounds like a good deal to me.
Call me.
You're number's still 773-509-5027 right?
Um, true story, when I was 13, I got my own phone line which was basically THE COOLEST until I realized the number was 217-522-HOT1. And I got all kinds of gross-o calls from people wanting phone sex. And I am like, hello! This is a LOCAL number? What are you going to do, MAIL me a check?
I can't wait to attend this event! I understand that Katie Holmes, Morgan Freeman, and a whole host of other celebs are expected to attend as well.
And, I didn't have to "whore myself" out, thank goodness!
Why would Katie Holmes attend this? She isn't even in the movie.
@quint -- Apparently actors from previous Batman movies have been invited. Michael Keaton and Val Kilmer have also been rumored to be attending.
everything that frp is saying is false...
