Besides bubbly, you definitely want a crisp and acidic white wine to pair with this sandwich. A vouvray, pinot blanc or sauvignon blanc would work well here, matching the chalky texture of the brie while enhancing the bright flavor of the strawberry.

For beer pairings with this sammich, opt for a kriek (a cherry ale). The sour taste of the ale is perfectly suited for the cheese, and might also play well off the strawberry.

I think the restaurant that adds it can have the liberty to name it. Preferably "the Stolpman."

Hi, Shameshameboy - Yeah, it needs a catchy name. Hmmm....as for a drink pairing, I drank a hot cup of joe with mine but a bellini,...now *that* would be great.

I'm going to think on the name. :)

It sounds delicious, but it needs a name to make ordering it easier and to create buzz. Something simple but evocative like a Lakeside. And a suggested drink pairing. Maybe a bellini or some sort of tisane.
