Mark your calendars, car folk: city stickers expire June 30. We know it sounds like a long time from now, but that's how procrastination gets ya. Plus it takes 10-14 days, so it's really not all that much time. Luckily, city clerk Miguel Del Valle has unveiled a new, fancier site where you can renew both your city sticker and your residential parking permit.
City stickers cost $75 for regular cars, $120 for SUVs, and $30 for cars driven by senior citizens.

My wife just ordered ours last week and said she was really surprised by the painlessness of the process. We received them in the mail on Saturday, so they seem to have gotten their act together.
Also, I recommend Sticker Shields to everyone this time of year. Makes the annual ritual so much simpler.
How come only seniors get discounts? Shouldn't students get them as well? They're usually lumped together in price breakdowns.
I nearly fell out of my chair when I read this the bottom of the instructions... "This online application is not compatible with Mac OS." It's nice to know the city has such a top-notch team of web developers.
Thanks. We ordered ours today. . .Would have forgotten it completely for the 2nd year in a row!
