These jerks are part of the reason that the Illinois GOP has been powerless for the past eight years. George Ryan was governor when this scheme was made public. He did nothing. Even worse, the U.S. Attorney for the Central District of Illinois did nothing. Maybe, just maybe, we'll get a grand jury investigation...and maybe some indictments. The ironic part is that the hotel ended up being called the Abraham Lincoln, a person who was a paragon of honesty.
