<description>&lt;p&gt;exactly. why does this even have to be stated?  and here&apos;s the thing ... people who are so self-centered as to be texting while driving don&apos;t think these laws apply to them.  seriously.

not to mention, i can&apos;t tell you how many cops i&apos;ve seen with cell phones to their ears.  i think if you get in an accident because you are talking on a phone or texting or something, you should get a reckless driving ticket.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;While there&apos;s no question in my mind you shouldn&apos;t be doing these things (just like you shouldn&apos;t be applying mascara while driving down the highway) do we really need laws on the books telling us this?

Are we eventually going to define every dangerous thing you could possibly do and assign misdemeanor fines based on the likelihood of death and dismemberment?&lt;/p&gt;</description>
