Chicago Women Sue Rolling Stone Over Topless Photo

rollingstone.jpgTwo Chicago women were caught by a Rolling Stone photographer in a "Girls Gone Wild" moment, and they aren't happy about it. The pair was shown in the magazine's May 2007 issue topless and kissing a man in between them. Apparently the humiliation of the ones of people who saw the photo and recognized them was too much to bear, and they are suing Rolling Stone for "reckless disregard". The lawsuit also states that the photo is "undoubtedly... offensive to a reasonable person."

Since the picture appeared, both say they've endured "mental suffering and anguish," while also having their "good name and reputation" damaged.

"Although all the other pictures of non-celebrities on the page of the magazine are blurred and credited, the picture of [Solano and Stearman is] identifiable because it clearly shows [their] face," the lawsuit says.

The man in the photo had no complaints. [S-T]
