Harvey Korman, best known for his work on The Carol Burnett Show, passed away last night. The Chicago native was 81 years old. In addition to the Burnett Show, Korman was also a regular feature in Mel Brooks movies. His skits with Tim Conway usually dovetailed into Korman breaking character whenever Conway started acting up. This predated Horatio Sanz and Jimmy Fallon doing that on SNL by about thirty years, except Conway and Korman could be funny most of the time.
An example of such is their classic dentist sketch, featured today.

Stroger Makes Hollywood Play

So true.
I think we need to watch the "Star Wars Holiday Special" in rememberence.
He's so funny in "High Anxiety," so many perfect moments.
