R. Kelly Defense Rests

So all that hand-wringing over whether or not the young woman at the center of the R. Kelly trial would testify? Moot. In a move that has caught everyone off-guard, the defense has rested its case. However, it looks like we haven't heard the last of the mole or The Wayans Defense. The prosecution plans to call two rebuttal witnesses tomorrow: Atlanta ADA Robert Wolf, regarding alleged threesome member Lisa Van Allen's fiance, and video expert Grant Fredericks, regarding defense video expert Charles Palm's claim about the absence of a mole in the video. Jurors were informed by the judge that if all goes as planned, closing arguments could start on Thursday.
