the $375 minimum fee in a work zone always seems so high. and it's always annoying to wonder why i have to slow down when there's no one around at midnight or something.
but every time i hear about a story like the man getting killed, i think ... isn't it worth any amount of money or time to save one person's life? it just seems so sad and unnecessary to lose people like that.
