Chicago is home to the oldest competitive sport kite team in history. Go us! The Chicago Fire Kite Team has been around since 1986 and is a five-time American Kiteflier's Association's national champion in ballet and four-time champ in precision flying. Click aqui for video.

That's awesome. I heard that there is a dumb law somewhere that makes it illegal to fly kites within Chicago city limits, too! (may or may not be true)

So we might have the oldest outlaw Sports Kite Team in the US!
