Because It Is Iced Coffee Season...
The Tribune today listed Seattle's Best (you know, those cafés you tend to forget are located inside Borders bookstores) as having the best iced coffee in the city. In making such a bold proclamation. In doing so, they prove that one can apply words and phrases used for wine or beer reviews such as "fragrance," "bold but mellow," "smooth," and "nutty" and still not know what one's talking about.
Coming on the heels of our list of favorite coffeehouses, the floor is now open to you. What place serves your favorite iced coffee?

Puhleeez. Intelligentsia or Metropolis. Just avoid Dunkin' Donuts iced "coffee" at all costs.

My parents own a coffee shop, The Daily Grind, in a Metra station at 95th and Longwood. Sure, I may be biased, but it's true: their iced coffee is perfect.
And cheap.

McDonald's Iced Blends hands down.

Classics Cafe in the Classics building at U of C. Otherwise the lousiest campus coffee shop, but their iced coffee is basically brewed by Jesus from beans harvested by angels of deliciousness.

I've been to the Daily Grind on bike rides to Beverly. It is a good blend of quality and thrift.
One of th drinks on the tribune's list I do agree with is that coffee smoothie from hell at Café Mestizo in Pilsen. Serious ice cream/smoothie headache.

I actually love Dunkin Donuts iced coffee.

Intelligentsia. I pretty much love all of the coffee they sell.

iced americano (lil' water) from starbucks (i know you all think it is evil but they do more for national & local communities & charities than any other coffee shop or national retail store & it's delicious).
Intelligentsia is fantastic but it is has been inconsistent on delivering a good brew.

I am going to agree with Blue on this: Dunkin' Iced Coffee is delicious and filling.
