Man Changes Name to In God We Trust

By Tim State in News on Jun 14, 2008 7:01PM

06-14-08_in-god-we-trust.jpgA 57-year-old Zion school bus driver and artist has changed his name to In God We Trust, the request granted by a Lake County Circuit Court judge yesterday. The artist formerly known as Steven Kreuscher has already started signing paintings with the new moniker, which We Trust (In God is his new first name) thinks will help to make him stand out.

The process to change his name took about three months, with the fees and charges costing close to $600; he used his tax rebate check to cover the cost.

We Trust apparently says his new name more closely articulates his relationship with God than Steven Kreuscher did. [S-T, Trib]
