Alas, Spook, I'm a one trick pony when it comes to relevant pop culture references.

I do like haikus, though:

fat boy stares in awe
hamburgers and fries galore
McDonald's loves me

See Tower, I was gonna refer to myself as being marooned on an Island and the Black Pearl stolen from me by Barobsa, but I knew the above was a sufficient hook!

Spook, unless Cap'n H. Barbossa had some degree of mental retardation, it's most likely he did not have Prater-Willies.

Not to be out done by "ad"

In some cases Prater-Willies syndrome has a known cause!

Ya see I knew this dude named Captain Hector Barbossa who constantly craved green apples, yet he couldn't smell or taste them no matter how many he ate! Ye I warned him not to steal the Aztec Gold!

hummmmmm

ad lets trade!

I use to dig Cypress Hill son! "shot gun go Boo Yow!!"

I think Cypress Hill said it best, "fat boy on a diet, don't try it, I'll check your ass like a looter in a riot."

He lost muscle mass, he has high cholesterol and I'm sure his overall health is not great and yet he will continue the 'diet'.

Isn't the whole point to be healthy? Getting to your goal weight is great, but I would think you'd want to be healthy as well.

If I were eating at McD's all the time and my doctor told me my cholesterol was too high, I don't think I'd be going to eat there anymore.

Yah...and the pic of that kid. Jeez!! How in the hell does a little kid get so fat? That is just so, so sad.

I have heard of one case of this syndrome called Prater-Willies...I know someone who works at a hospital for children with severe behavioral problems and one kid there, around 10, had this and apparently this kid would sneak out of his house to go to the corner 7-11 and just steal food and gorge himself. The parents had this deal with the store that they would just pay their weekly tab for whatever he took. He was ten and I think he weighed over 200 pounds.

Prater-Willie, btw is when you never, ever, ever feel full...you are always, always, always hungry, no matter how much you eat, and will do practically anything to get food. Parents of kids who have this literally have to chain their refrigerators shut.

Beyond that...I don't understand how a kid can get so fat. From what I see out there the majority of kids, including my own, would rather play than eat.
