What JSYK said. He has the 12000 little samples and beats and bits and pieces that he's made (last I heard, he used Adobe Audition/Cool Edit Pro for this), and when he performs, he uses Audiomulch (which Four Tet uses for a lot of things) to put them together on the spot. It's never exactly the same, though he will sometimes recreate certain bits of his records on the spot. Eg: "Bounce That" and the Elton John/Notorious BIG thing both tend to show up much like they are on record. But, yeah. His live shit's not pre-recorded.

It's not pre-recorded, it's mixed live using a very rudimentary audio program. And it's also different every time. I've seen him many times in the past year, and he never plays the same set twice. Sorry Matty.
