Friday Afternoon Diversion

Interesting about that Philly skyscraper story. I remember when the (unwritten?) rule was that no building in Philadelphia could be taller than the statue of Willy Penn on top of City Hall.
But it's still just a "proposed" building, nothing official yet. While apparently the Chicago Spire's 2,000-foot height is negotiable, at least that building is under construction now, and will almost certainly be taller than this proposed 1,500-foot building in Philly. There's also NYC's Freedom Tower, which will be 1,776 feet.
