Yes there did used to be an incentive to fake illness and stay home from school. For those who didn't have cable, daytime tv was actually worth watching until about 16 years ago.

Is it true that there will be two MeTV channels, MeTV and MeToo? And will the websites be either separate websites or just one website?

I think I have seen some solid episodes of Good Times, Cheers, Taxi, and News Radio on there. All we need is Perfect Strangers!

Ditto. MeTV rules. The only thing that would make this better would be if they were showing vintage made-for-TV movies, like TVLand did a few years ago. Ooh, or if they added local commercials to their vintage commercial rotation.

I don't know the name of the woman who does the voiceovers, but she has SUCH a familiar Chicago voice. I think she used to be on WFLD before Fox existed, or maybe WPWR before it was UPN? (hint, hint Chicagoist, that'd be a cool interview!) Either way, I love that it's her, it just adds to the old-skool feeling.
