Tankboy, even more appropriate: I would take them to The Burlington on Tuesday after skipping the Liz Phair show to see Lizz Kannenberg, a much better Lizz. Laura, I think I've said the exact same thing, at Twist! Best summer date on a Tue night is the Grant park movie. . .my now husband took me there on a date, brought a bottle of pre made martinis (AWESOME) then during the movie, whipped out sternos and ingrediants to make smores! The movie was awesome and the date cost him a total of $30 (we like to drink A LOT)

great dates...crash a party, see an impromptu double feature, kiss in the bat cave at the zoo. batting cages and air hockey on devon, eating sushi so good you see god, and by all means, a dive bar (wink spook!) i like carol's.

First date, the skankiest dive bar( like the Creature Cantina in Star Wars) that I can think of. If they can go the distance, hold their liqour and leave the juke box to me, then the next date, a nice dinner and of course back to that dive bar

For me it's easy. I would dress my date up as one of the Female Furies from Jack Kirby's New Gods comics, preferably Lashina, to compliment my Kalibak outfit, and then I'd take her to Wizard World. Nothing gets the panties dropping quicker than a Warren Ellis Q&A.

Man, I really like these. They're about what I'd do on any given date, including wrap them in bacon. While drunk. Eating Scooters custard, ungh. While singing Karaoke. After having seen a movie and a free concert. Then, I'd get struck by lightning and have to end the date on a high note.
