Stop That Train, My T-Shirt Says I Wanna Get Off

2008_07_thatsmystop.gifEl stops are looking pretty snazzy these days, which is all the more reason to be jazzed up about the one you call home.

That’s My Stop sells t-shirts that proudly display the name of your El station in all its block letter signage and grid-coordinate glory. Just pick your train line, stop, and the color and size t-shirt you want from the dropdown menus and for a mere $15 (plus $5 for shipping), you’ll have a new tee that does your platform proud.

Considering our town is celebrated as a city of neighborhoods, we think this is a great way to show off some Chi-town pride. Also, if you happen to be wearing it when you pass out on the El, strangers will know when it’s time to nudge you awake. Not that we know anything about that.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't want total strangers knowing where I live. Not even the general area.

I could not agree more.

how can something so stupid be so ridiculously awesome!

i'd probably wear one if were living/visiting somewhere else.

they're sort of horning in on Toghaus.com but these shirts seem cheaper.

I demand Pace Route shirts.

@4 Agreed, that's exactly what I thought when I saw this. I think the design of the shirts at Toghaus are better looking, too. I'd purchase from Toghaus again before buying one of these designs.

Going hand-in-hand, with the previous article on CTA merch this week;

The CTA should have adopted this concept awhile back. Partnering w/ Spreadshirt, or heck go local w/ Threadless, to sell custom merchandise.

Create an art contest, and custom design CTA scene's and run the over @ Threadless. (Make them Select tees not the regular, I want American Apparel shirts, not shitty FOTL)

This could infuse the CTA merch store into v2.0

** Any member of the CTA adopting this advise is subject to a residual payment schedule, for complete details send a S.A.S.E. to me ** ;-)

the bubble over my head reads.......

(Hummmmm.....I'd better alert Command about this upstart who calls himself happyfunball, incase he's trying to move into my territory!

But back to the subject, what about shirts that read "Get yo Smoke, stabbed, funk or Delay on CTA"

Sweet! Can't wait to get my Paulina shirt. Now if only the station were open...

Does the Thorndale shirt smell like piss and leak when it rains?

Southport, represent!

Yeah, that's just asking the old guy with the crazy eyes staring at you the entire tran ride to "pretend" he gets off at your stop too, and then he might "pretend" to live on your street too.

You guys realize that, regardless of what shirt you're wearing, you still do have to actually get off at your stop, and everyone can see that.

If someone's going to follow you, it's not a big mystery where you're getting off.

I want one that is printed upside down in case I forget where I'm going.
