@Slaphappy That picture was taken two or three years ago, when I was a student at U of I. That's in the Illini Union; Blago had come to pose for the cameras, and the president of the College Republicans, Justin Randall (pictured), met him to give him a little gift. Even as a Democrat, it was a priceless moment.

A 4th of July press conference for gas pump inspections????I don't think we will be seeing much of this guy anymore out in the wild after that. He has to be the weakest politician I have ever seen when it comes to deflecting questions. He also qualifies as a real tool for dropping names like Obama and Lisa Madigan in the middle of his little debacle of a press conference. I think a little prison time might help him grow up a little. His current level of maturity is a sight to behold.I realize that Illinois has never been the model of integrity but WTF?

You got to give the schmuck some credit for the bold lies he keeps telling after he was publicly outed as "Public Official A" in the investigation! My guess is that he's trying to wheedle a deal with Fitzgerald to keep his wife out of an indictment, let alone a conviction. The stories about her real estate dealings make her very culpable & could get her jointly indicted with him. Her daddy would be really pissed at that point & might get a lot of people to flip & destroy him for that.

The best was the, I believe, channel 5 coverage of his little temper tantrum (awww...blago need a bottle?) wherein the reporter pointed out that if the handful of gas station inspectors worked 7 days a week it would take them 3 years to visit every station in Illinois. Yet another Blago cock and bull issue. Go back to violent video games or dental insurance for pets or nanny cams you criminal with a fancy haircut.
