Beard Papa's are awesome. I was in San Francisco just yesterday and had a cream puff. I was there for a week and hit up Papa's often.

YES, ever since the one in Sawtelle, I've been craving for one in Chicago. Finally, we're getting cream puffs and pinkberry-style places. Can't wait for carne asada fries and Rubio's to come to town.

Nomnomnom!!! That Beard PaPa's place looks awesome! I'm there. Also, that cartoon video was oddly charming and funny, and the children looked very adult-like. I liked when all the crumbs fell from people's mouths as they ate.

what is up with all the DQ/orange juliuses springing up? the first one i saw was on lincoln avenue just south of fullerton a bit. i haven't heard of an orange julius in the wild in about 20 years. there are people i talk about orange julius to and they don't even know what one is. it's weird. not to mention for ages the only DQs there were were the secret underground DQ and the DQ on howard street (now there's the southport DQ and the DQ/julius hybrid i just mentioned). strange dessert mumblings are afoot.

There was a Beard PaPa's by the place I worked in NYC. Those damn things are more addictive than crack. Ok, maybe not that addictive, but I started salivating just reading about Chicago getting one...
