So THAT explains why Daley keeps trying to snag us with red light cameras, arcane parking rules, and bottled water taxes ... he needs to pay all those lawyers
Seriously, the way we see people drive around this city, we're not sure reducing the time behind the wheel in driver's ed is really the way to go.
Finally, a cut-back an airline is making that we can agree with! No more crappy movies on US Airways flights.
Stabucks grows ever more desperate. We're surprised they didn't wake up to the problem of shrinking sales early. (We know, grooooan....)
Hm, maybe Chicago ain't the only place with arcane parking laws after all...

Friday Afternoon Diversion: Earth With Rings

cool picture.
heh, the last (and i think only) movie i've seen on a plane was on a US Airways flight. something about John Cusack adopting a boy who thinks he's an alien. not too bad, and i love JC, but man, there's no way i would have seen that otherwise.
my 4.5 hour flight to Seattle next month? no movie and no meal. thanks, i didn't need that sustenance anyway. (to be fair, they have "food for purchase," which probably amounts to charging for peanuts now.)
The Logan! What's Hood!
What's really Hood Biotch!
am i the only one who buys whole bottles of wine and gigantic sandwiches to eat on the plane? I meant there's no rule against that.
matty: probably. i bought two huge bags of walgreens trail mix when i flew to vegas. served me well the entire trip.
