Coyote Reported in Wheaton

This spring, we had the drama of a cougar running loose through the City. Now Wheaton officials are advising people to watch small animals and children after reports of recent coyote sightings in the western suburb. But they are also reminding folks that coyotes are common in wooded areas, and occasionally venture into residential neighborhoods.

While no problems have been reported, residents are reminded they can call 911 if they see any animals behaving in a threatening manner. [WBBM]
