There are lamer things to wait in line/get excited over. And the lines were caused as much by the activation issues as anything else. The couple people I know who bought one yesterday all have working phones now (and have since late afternoon yesterday), but the couple of them that got through the stupid lines before noon or so got to wait for the activation server issues to clear up. I'll be waiting a couple more days. Last year I walked into the Michigan avenue store the day after launch, bought an iPhone, waited for all of about 10 minutes in line. Took it home, listed it on Craigslist and got 200 bucks over retail for it. It's a really nice phone. But adults in the 21st century should not be waiting in line for hours to buy a PHONE.</p>
