My mother generally calls the day this episode airs and tells me to run down to her studio b/c she's having her free give away day. Everytime, I have to talk to her about pre-taping and the fact that you have to get tickets far ahead of time to get on the show. But, every year, I get the call.

Those 8 photos are the most I've ever seen of an oprah show. she keeps her ratings up by giving daytime tv viewers grills and cars? strange.

The SNL skit that made fun of the women's reactions is one of my favorites of all time. Having said that, if I ever managed to get myself in the audience for that episode, I'm pretty sure I'd lose my shit, too. maybe not THAT badly, but she gives away sweet prizes!
