Really? I liked a lot of the designs last night, I thought there was a lot of promise. More than a few contestants are trying a wee bit too hard to convey a Reality Show Personality, but there's some cool design potential.

I know it was only the first episode, but the current crop is already kind of boring me ... and the fact they sent the maker of the serial killer raincoat home instead of the even more drab garbage bag dress maker (who happens' to be "rock" and will probably have a "bigger" personality, right?) worries me already.

if you put the mophead top on top of kelli's vacuum bag skirt, i would have been all over that shit with my 14-hole doc martens. this season is starting out waaaay slow and potentially a bummer, though. :/

I loved the mophead top, too, it was a really great idea! I also liked the pasta skirt made by the guy from Detroit, the cup dress, and the winning dress. There were some really great designs last night.

I thought that woven mop head top was the coolest out of everything actually. Yeah, the skirt wasn't so much, but the top was awesome.
