The westbound lanes of the Eisenhower Expressway at Cicero Avenue were closed this afternoon after a crash stemming from an incident where a Chicago Police bike patrol officer was hit by a vehicle on the West Side. A vehicle struck the officer, who is at Loretto Hospital in stable condition, and then left the scene of the accident, heading east in the westbound lanes before crashing.
