I got the word "iridescence" tattooed on myself, and I was a maniac about making sure the spelling was correct to the point where I not only wrote it down, I txted it to myself and brought a dictionary. Be smart please.

This reminds me of an article I read about when people get Chinese or Japanese letters/words tattooed on them, that the meanings are something different than what they think they mean.

If you can't spell "tomorrow" getting a tattoo should be the last thing on your to-do list.Try buying some Hooked on Phonics first. I love how the artist attempted to cover it up. The shop and artist are definitely liable.Plus,who in the fuck gets work done at Jade Dragon? That place is a shit-hole.

Caveat Emptor. In my experience, the tattoo artist puts the decal on your skin, then you look to make sure it's okay and you give him the go ahead. Maybe all these tattoo parlors should make sure they have a full time copy editor on staff :) I don't fault the guy for not knowing how to spell...lots of intelligent people don't know how to spell (F.Scott Fitzgerald could not spell...that's why we have editors), what I find pathetic is that he was unsure of the word and did not do any research himself. Again, we have another case of no personal responsibility. It's always someone else's fault.

wow. that so sucks. but i've got to say, that i would be MEGA paranoid if i were getting words tattooed on me. i would check and double check and re-check. i would probably go and leave the tattoo parlor and come back with fresh eyes. i'd have a friend look at it. i would want in no uncertain circumstances to know that it was 100% correct. so, i don't know about this.
