Organizers are rolling out today renderings for the 16-Inch Softball Hall of Fame -- in a bricks and mortar format. Currently, the Hall of Fame only exists on the web.

But board members hope to raise enough money to build a museum in Forest Park. They will unveil the plans at 12:30 today at Harrison Street and Des Plaines Avenue, next to the softball fields that will host the annual No-Glove National Tournament.

The Hall of Fame, founded in 1996, already includes over 300 artifacts. [S-T]
