I'm still mad about the International Music Feed channel being brought by assholes on Dish, but I'm still loving it because the alternative is....Comcast. Horrible company.

Dish Network. Even though they took away my Rave, Kung Fu and Monsters channels, I still like 'em better than Comcast. And the DVR's pretty nice too!

RCN is still missing some of the HD channels I had on Comcast almost a year ago. And I'm talking major channels like History HD, Vs. HD (big deal if you watch hockey), and some others.

Plus, their equipment is garbage.

And I've had nothing but issues with their billing system, but that's another story.

It's too bad my HOA has a deal with them, or I'd have dropped them long ago.

I don't know much about AT&T or RCN, but as a customer of COmcast I have to say it's frightening to think there's worse service out there than Comcast. I guess I'm not as stupid as I originally thought I was for sticking with Comcast. I loves me some dual-tuner HD action!

AT&T is way worse than Comcast. Burecracy runs sooo deep in that company.

I sometimes wish I lived on the east coast, since Verizon is the LEC.

FIOS FTW

AT and T? You've got to be freaking kidding me. My entire block was out of service for at least a week last month, plus we've had so many problems with our internet service we've actually looking into other things that will bypass them entirely.

My situation might be out of the ordinary, but they seem to have enough trouble with providing the services they already handle to take on a venture like this.

To clarify, AT&T's U-Verse (or whatever they're calling it now) doesn't have the bandwidth to feed you two HD streams at once. This means there's no such thing as a dual-tuner HD DVR. So if you're expecting to watch one HD channel while recording another, forget it.

Before you accuse me of being a Comcast shill, I'd like to go on record as stating that I hate hate hate Comcast. I think putting banner ads in the DVR menus was the measure that finally had me looking for an exit. I'm currently trying to build a MythTV DVR so i can get over-the-air HD and then I'll just download the few cable shows I don't want to lose.
