Warmowski - Thanks. We missed the tip the first time around. Looks good and we will keep it on file since Lord knows there will be more to post this summer on the topic. As for The Simpsons, the posted clip just seemed to fit. We realize the show isn't made in Chicago, but allow ourselves a little breathing room from time to time on the Chicago-related matter, as long as its pertinent to the Chicago-related post. Hi Marcus: I wouldn't comment if it wasnt for the fact that I did exactly that on the 17th. When Daley blamed "timid cops" on "the media" I sent a tip to tips@chicagoist.com about our timely work at officer-bob.com. Maybe you didn't see it, maybe you didn't like it, either way, fair enough. Just making sure Chicagoist knows they make the Simpsons in L.A. and Korea. -r

Boy, it's a real shame Chicagoist couldn't find any Chicago-produced animated comedy or satirical media concerning the police corruption problem. But I'm sure someone out there has never heard of the Simpsons, so good work.

You know, it's the 99% of corrupt Chicago cops that make the other 1% look bad. Part of the judgement against the city in the lawsuit should be having a cable channel set up to show the video 24/7 on an endless loop.
