[Setting: sports bar, half-filled with patrons. Moderately attractive woman sits at bar by herself. Average looking man appears in his late 20s / early 30s. He's holding a beer. Scruffy hair and five o'clock shadow. He's wearing gym shoes, jeans and a Han Solo t-shirt. He approaches woman.] Male: Hi there. Can I buy you a drink? Female: Ummm...OK, I guess. Male: Mind if I sit down? I promise I won't bite. Female: Ummm...OK. Male: What are you doing here all by yourself? Female: I'm not. My girlfriend just went to the bathroom. Male: Oh. Female: What are you doing here all by yourself? Male: Oh, just blowing off steam. Had a long day. Female: Where do you work? Male: I work at a comic books store. Female: Oh, that's nice. Is it around here? Male: No, it's in Naperville. It's called Graham Crackers Comics. [Pause. Woman gives quick look of shock that breaks into hysterical laughter. She tries to cover her mouth, but her stomach hurts so much from the laughing that she cannot.] Female: Did you just say you work at a place called Graham Crackers! And you actually admitted it? And you wanted to buy me a drink! [She continues to laugh, grabs purse and walks to another table.]

Also? The Trib uses Wikipedia as a source. I believe that sound you hear is the devil bestride a snowblower. I'm shocked Graham Cracker accepted a check of any kind. By the way, a Mint copy of the comic goes for 40 GRAND. It looks like he was getting a "Very Good/Fine" copy at best, according to the Comicbookpriceguide.com He wasn't even stealing a really snazzy one. there are people who were found guilty of murder and rape who didn't serve time? attempting to steal $1,000 from a small business deserves a severe punishment i do agree about weed though. that should definately be legal

Just goes to show you what this society values most. Forge a check for a lousy nine hundred bucks or something as harmless as having a little weed and get sent up the river...and there are murderers walking the streets.
