Wow I feel old. 20 years??? WAY back in college (early 90's) my friends and I made costumes on the cheap and dressed up like Little Mermaid characters for Halloween. I still can remember transforming a short, scrawny guy into a large purple sea-witch with tentacles. Yes...MUCH alcohol was involved.

I'm glad someone else understands the importance of this film. Yes, it is wildly fucked up and utter Disney-filth, BUT DAMMIT! THAT MOVIE IS MY CHILDHOOD! And I'm not afraid to say I'll probably weep when I hear "Part of Your World".
